Hope Spot Disc Mount Facing Tool
(FOR HIRE)

If you are suffering from squealing, spongy disc brakes it may be that your frame / fork disc mounts need facing. This high quaility tool from Hope bolts into the dropouts and a cutter is fitted into predetermined holes to achieve perfect alignment. End of problem!

The tool is available FOR HIRE ONLY (let's face it - do the job right and you'll only ever need to use the tool once!). It only took about 30 minutes to do the front and rear dropouts on my bike and the difference in power was huge!

Tool hire is £5 per week but I will need a £35 deposit before I send the tool out to you. P&P is £5 and you must pay for return postage youself. I will send the tool by recorded delivery and strongly recommend you do the same so that you have a proof of postage.

This adds up to as total cost about £15 compared with at least £20 in a bike shop - and the satisfaction of doing it yourself! You can make it even cheaper by sharing the hire charge with a friend or two and splitting the cost between you.

For more details of the tool click here

Payment of hire charge, deposit and refunds can only be made through Paypal. Please email me for further details.

Notes - boring but please read...
1. Hire period is 7 days from receipt of tool to return postage (when you post it, not when I receive it!)
2. The £35 deposit will be returned in full on the day I receive the tool unless:
a. The tool is not posted back within a 7 day period. If this happens a charge of £2/per day overdue will be taken from the deposit. The remainder of the deposit will be refunded on receipt of tool.
b.The tool is damaged or has bits missing. This will result in forfeit of deposit. If you think the tool is damaged or has parts missing please contact me on the day you receive the tool. If you contact me after the day of receipt I will have to assume that it was you wot dun it. Sorry!
